I started just 2 weeks before the EuroHabitat Build to work for Habitat for Humanity in Germany. So therefore, I was quite curious what to expect from a GV Trip. It turned out to be extremely intersting and it helped me a lot to really get into the organization. I couldn't imagine to build a house in 5 days, ( it is incredible) but we managed so well and finished 75%. If we hadn't had 2 days of rain, we would have finished 150%. I am really glad for Anabel and Andre that they have the chance in such young age to get a own house. Especially for their small little Child Bianca, I am most happy. She is 12 month old and such a cute girl.
Else, it was great to get to know new people from around the world that had all the same common goal. Eliminate poverty housing. Moreover, it was so nice to explore Rumania and to get to know their folks. Our hotel owner gave us a guided tour on Saturday through Bukovina. It was so nice.
I extremely enjoyed the EURO Build and would take part again. Of course it was extremely hard work, but it is worth it.
Best, Katrin

Katrin,

You did a phenomenal job. Habitat for humanity is lucky to have you.

Let me know when Jason and I can come to Germany to build houses with you and we will be there in the blink of an eye!
